Will the Coronavirus Reform Our Politics?

The United States of America has been politically divided for a long time.

I am not talking about being divided over the last four years, either. I am talking about the previous 244 years! From the founding of our nation, Americans have always been divided along political lines.

Just think about it, whether it was the Civil War, Civil Rights, or Civil Unions, there has always been a vigorous debate about the direction of our nation. It doesn’t matter what it is; we have never seen things the same way.

This is particularly the case when we have traumatic and seminal moments in our country. Slavery, The Great Depression, Pearl Harbor, The Cold War, and September 11 were all traumatic events in our history. It was in the wake of these events that we had significant political debates that led to significant policy and political reform in our nation.

You can add COVID-19 to the list of traumatic and seminal moments that will usher in social and political reform in America.

Please watch this short video as I share what significant reforms, we could see because of the impact that the novel Coronavirus, known as COVID-19, has had on our lives.

This is the final segment (Part 7) of my Facebook LIVE on March 29, 2020. It is where I discuss the Seven Things You Need to Know During COVID-19.

What reforms would you like to see in our post-COVID-19 world?

Anton
